EBI: What are the key messages of the Galaxy advert?- What intertextual references are made to reflect messages .

Q1: Colour Scheme : Central Image

Q2: In the OMO advertisement it clearly represents women as housewives which links to Social and Cultural contexts of them behaving in certain ways forced upon them by the  society we can infer this is from Central image of the OMO advertisements telling the audience what women were supposed to do in 1900s, reflecting that every women was to be a proper housewife no matter how posh a women is.

Q3: In my opinion race and ethnicity is represented as a key issues of the same race like black and Asian communities to help them tackle the decrease in blood donors for which are highlighting this issues through online campaign in which we see famous celebrities like Lady Leshurr who is a from black/Asian communities trying to convey this powerful message through her rapping skills. In Conclusion the use of the same race leaves a more impactful message of telling of telling how they can help someone from their community encouraging black/Asian communities due to the massive lack of blood donors.

                               Blog feedback and Leaner response   WWW: You have made a good start in GCSE Media with several pieces of work on your blog including your fruit bowl which certainly captures the pink palette! The challenge now is making sure our blog is 100% up-to-date and building from there.   EBI:  One thing to address – you have missed the work on mise-en-scene and Stranger Things. Go back and finish/post this when you get a moment and we can update your tracker to green.   My strongest piece of work in media so far is Denotation and Connotation because the only thing I had is for Denotation I had to write what I see and for Connotation I had to say what the purpose of the advert.

 1) EBI- Longer, more detailed answers in the higher mark questions example: Q3 and Q6.
